How technical planning delivers lasting results
Layout Centered on Sightline
Tile layouts are planned from the primary sightline, not arbitrary edges. This ensures balanced cuts and eliminates unsightly slivers in visible areas. (TCNA Handbook, Layout Guidelines)
Cuts Pushed to Secondary Areas
Partial tiles are reserved for corners and low-visibility zones. The main field features full or near-full modules for a professional, symmetrical finish.
Substrate Corrected Before Tile
All substrates are flattened and leveled to TCNA tolerances before tile installation. Large-format tile exposes every flaw—prep is non-negotiable.
Movement Joints at Perimeter
Expansion and movement joints are installed at all perimeters and changes of plane, per TCNA EJ171. This prevents cracking and ensures long-term durability.
