Installation Process: Transparent, Documented, Code-Compliant

Every Tillerstead project follows a transparent, documented process—rooted in TCNA guidelines and New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor (New Jersey HIC) law. From detailed written estimates to disciplined execution and warranty-backed support, we deliver clarity, accountability, and technical excellence.

How We Work

TCNA 2024-Compliant Process—From ANSI A108.10 Assessment to ASTM E2947 Testing

On-Site Assessment & Substrate Verification

Complimentary New Jersey HIC-licensed walk-through with documented substrate evaluation: L/360 deflection testing, moisture mapping, flatness verification (1/8" in 10' for LFT). TCNA 2024 compliance assessment ensures your project starts with engineering-grade documentation—not guesswork.

Detailed Scope, ISO 13007 Materials & Written Contract

Receive written scope specifying ANSI A108 installation methods, ANSI A118.10 waterproofing assemblies, and ISO 13007 C2-rated thinset—plus New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act-compliant contract terms (3-day rescission, max 10% deposit, milestone payments). You approve every technical detail and legal protection.

TCNA-Compliant Installation & ASTM E2947 Flood Testing

Work proceeds with daily photo documentation including periodic quality-control checks during installation, OSHA 1926.1153 silica control, and ASTM E2947 flood testing. At completion: closeout package with 2-year workmanship warranty, care instructions, and technical documentation—ensuring long-term performance and legal compliance.
